EARMUFF DAY
I designed this little girl all dressed for the snow and cold right down to her earmuffs. The inside of the card reads: "for warm wishes"
TICK TOCK DAY
This clock was pre colored and came from one of the most awesome sites I've found lately called Paper Printables. I dry embossed the blue card stock using one of the Tim Holz embossing folders and then I heat embossed over that with gold. I love the retro look of this card. I used some Stickles for the clock face plus a black crystal from Miriam's Crafting Supplies.
BACON DAY
Well this turned into an interesting venture...I went on line to get ideas of what I could do with bacon and I found all these weird bacon tasting or smelling or looking things you can actually buy so I had to download the pictures because it was just too funny and instead of a card or layout, I made a digital poster of what I found. Look closely because you may miss something interesting or just plain weird.
And the ultimate Bacon...
Kevin Bacon
HAPPY NEW YEAR
I made this card using printable champagne digital paper I found at Printable Paper. I added some of my Glistening Snow Writer to give the appearance of bubbles coming out of the champagne bottle. I heat embossed the Happy New Year in gold and I made the flower by using a stencil for the Cuddlebug and then quilling. I added a green crystal from Miriam's Crafting Supplies.
Thanks for stopping by and mark your calendar again next month to see what Holidays to Celebrate on January 12, 2013, for the next Calendar Girls Blog Hop! Lynne's Blog is your next stop.
