Webpages Lost in Time

The changes of social media mean a change in us.

Ten years ago it was all about putting together a webpage with a background and pictures and lots of typing and videos. Now it's a quick snapshot and hashtags.

I think of how I've changed and how what I upload to the digital world has changed through time for me. I spent hours on my my webpage and had multiple webpages. Each serving a different purpose and a different audience. Now today, with Snap Chat, Twitter, You Tube, Instagram and all the other quick snap and tag apps I have forgotten my webpages. Left them to the internet space vortex. I have even forgotten the correct name of one of my webpages and have yet to locate it again. Yes, it's that lost in the vortex.

I see friends trying to rectify their webpages but the life is gone for good. We don't need them like we use to for our daily peak into each other's lives.  We don't need to put the tedious time and effort into making our webpage look nice, stand out, grab others' attention.  I remember friends posting of how they were burning out trying to keep their daily or even weekly webpages going and keeping their follower numbers up. Most webpage people are no longer doing anything with their webpages and their last posts are five or more years ago.

I keep wanting to work on my webpage again but like all the other times, I'll start posting, keep on it for a few weeks and then just forgot about it. Reality.
