Ethan is a courageous little boy who came
into this world with obstacles to overcome and he has proven he has a
strong will and determination that is an inspiration to his family and
friends. This hop is to celebrate Ethan's 3rd birthday and to show him
that there are people who he does not know personally but who think he
it a true gift from God.
Ethan's mother, Melissa, has asked us to share a story from a past birthday that was special in our lives, so today along with our cards we made for Ethan, we will be sharing a special part of our lives too and I ask that you take the time to read through those special memories along with wishing Ethan a very happy 3rd birthday.
I wracked my brain trying to think back to a special birthday and all my birthdays were special growing up. I think back to the birthday parties with the neighbor children and my cousins and the birthday cake and candles to blow out. Birthday parties were so much more simpler then. You didn't have the big party with all the class from school, not a ton of balloons or goodie bags for each child that came. It was just one or two balloons, cake, ice cream, candles to blow out and presents to unwrap in front of your guest. I remember mom giving me the speech of be happy and like your gift no matter what it is because you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings and always say "Thank you." Simple but important to how I became as an adult.
Here is a card I made for Ethan. Ethan's mother said he likes Spiderman so I found this cool free Spiderman svg file to cut out and then I turned it into an easel card.
Thank you for hopping today and please continue on to Haidee's blog.
