Back to School Blog Hop - Day 1

Welcome to the School Blog Hop! This is a two day blog hop in which we will feature different projects both days. I hope you enjoy the many talents as you are hopping along. There will be a grand prize winner drawn from those who comment on all of the blogs both days. The grand prizes are from Cloud9 who is giving away a $20 gift certificate to their store. And Jens DigiStamps who will be giving away a $5 gift certificate to their store which is worth five digistamps. I would appreciate if you could take the time to check out their sites as we are happy to have them as our sponsors.

If you're coming from Arpil's blog, then you're heading in the right direction and need to continue on to  Kristy's blog and if you've gotten lucky and found mine by mistake, well I'm flattered but it's always nice to start from the beginning so you can head to the hostess's blog My Amusing Life.

I made some useful and cute back to school gifts for my children's teachers.

I was walking through Michael's and came across pre-painted mini-chalkboards in different shapes for $1 or $2 a piece so I grabbed a few

Cricut Cartridge "Locker Talk" for the apple and school and cut at 3 inches.

SRX Metallic Color Sharp for the wording.

I also made this little treat box for the teachers and filled it with Dove chocolate.

I wasn't going to feature this little box because to be honest, I can't remember where I found the school house box. But I like it so much, I just had to. Please let me know in my comments if you know where it came from. : )

Stamps: Heidi Grace designs 4 x 8 school
Ink: ColorBox

Thanks for looking and commenting. I just love to read comments. : ) I like new followers too if you're up to that. ; )

  12. Love the chalkboard idea! I've never seen those at Michael's but I'm thinking chalkboard paint would work as well on wooden circles. TFS! Am a new follower as well.
