Valentine Mini Album Hop/Swap!

Happy Valentines Day to you and your loved ones. Thank you so much for joining us today in this Valentine Mini Album Hop/Swap! You are gonna love all the beautiful mini albums that have been created! We all made a mini and then sent it to another person in the hop!

CallyAnn  is our hostess today so please start from her blog is you happened here by chance or get lost.

There is Blog Candy! All you have to do is comment on all the blogs. CallyAnn has a Stamp Set from Stampin' Up and 4 yards of Twine.
Now onto the projects:

The person I am sending my mini to is Sherry and this is the first mini album I am ever made. I have wanted to make one for such a long time but didn't know how to go about it. It took me a long time to decide how to put this together too. I designed the page shapes on my own in Inkscape and cut the chipboard out using my eClips.
I used some stamps for the heart and Valentine  and the keyhole is metal and from the Jim Holz Idea-ology collection. The key comes from the SVG Attic's svg file Valentine Elements.

The butterfly is also form the SVG Attic set Valentine Elements. On the side with the stamped words "Love you," you can put a picture there since I inked the outside of the white framed area.

I stamped and heat embossed the two hearts on the left and the pink card holder on the right is actually a journaling card if you were to turn it over. It came from Oriental Trading a few years back.

All the photo frames on these pages are journaling cards. I just added stamps and stickers.
I used a journaling card on the left hand size but I left it open at the top so I could add a pull out tag. Sherry can decide if she wants to put pictures on the tag or journaling page. I added bling and did some swirls in glitter. On the right side, I used paisley rub ons. The rub ons also came from Oriental Trading.
I used stamps on the left side and then colored them in with metallic markers. The heart flowers also came from the Valentine Element set from SVG Attic. I added a little bling to each heart flower and the stems are glitter paper.

The flower is from a sheet of cardstock. It's glitter and I liked it so much that I had to add it. The envelope come from Valentine Elements from SVG Attic and I used the stamp "Be Mine Valentine" on the cute little card I inserted. The heart is heat embossed with red and gold specks embossing powder.

The hearts are cut from the same glitter paper as the flower was and I added a piece of pink card stock for a picture or journaling.

Thank you for stopping by today and I'm wishing you a wonderful Valentine's Day. Your next stop is Sherrie

DT Monday for SVG Attic

Good Monday Morning

I've taken another popular file the Fun Favors SVG File  and turned one of the boxes into a Valentine's box just by doing the simplest of things. There are four boxes in this file and one is a milk carton box with a round viewing window.

I replaced the round viewing window with the heart shape from the Valentine Cupcake Wrapper SVG Collection. This can be done in Sure Cuts a Lot for your die cutting machine.

I kept my round hole in the box and placed the heart over top of it so that way I could make the heart the same size as the hole. Once the heart was the size of the hole I un-grouped the box, deleted the circle and put the heart in it's place then I re-grouped the set.

I can't wait to fill this little box with goodies to give my Valentine.

Until next time - Hugs from Jearise in Lorby's World.

DT Monday at SVG Attic

Please click here for the "Boy Oh Boy" blog hop

SVG Attic has been creating some new and beautiful things for Valentine's Day and the file "Yours Truly" has two cards, one word book and one explosion box.

I loved explosion boxes so I had to make one. There are enough embellishments in this kit to make the box truly yours.

And look at the rose...
SVG Attic is running a special through the end of today - 50% off everythings in their store. Yours Truly is a great way to get ready for your sweetie and Valentine's day.

Until next time Hugs from Jearise in Lorby's World
