This hop is a 2 day hop, so you have plenty of time to get through all of the blogs. If you've arrived here from Tammy's blog you're on the right track! Today we had a birthday party to go to so I made this special Hello Kitty birthday card since we are doing this fun and special hop.

I found my baker Hello Kitty over at Pudgy Bunny's Hello Kitty. There was a lot more to this coloring page but I got rid of everything but my baker kitty. I converted her to an SVG and used SCAL to cut it out. I designed the cake in Inkscape.
I used Stickles on the cap and for her nose. I had the pink button nose cut out and dropped it and something that small disappeared into scrapbook heaven and will only be discovered again through the suction of the mighty Dyson. I cut the whole cake and plate in brown but I went over the plate in silver stickles and I used prismatic glitter for cake frosting edging.

I had fun layering my kitty as you can tell.

Thank you for looking today and joining us on the Hello Kitty Hop. Now trot on over to Ashley's Blog and remember to leave a comment at each and every blog along the way to be eligible for the grand prize drawing. Jearise in Lorby's World

Don't you just love Hello Kitty? I sure do and so does my almost 7 year old daughter who has bugged me to have a Hello Kitty themed birthday party December 6th. This blog hop was the perfect excuse to get me started on making her decorations instead of procrastinating till the last minute.
I got my Hello Kitty angel from Pudgy Bunny coloring pages. I converted it to an SVG file and added the embossed star instead of the flower she was holding. Disclaimer: I am allowed to use the coloring pages from Pudgy Bunny as long as I don't sell them or use the drawings for profit in any way.

The star is cut at 1 inch and embossed with Jeweled Gold by Stampendous!

I used Studio G gold glitter glue on the wings and Martha Stewart red glitter glue for the belt and waist bow.

I loved making the flowers for Hello Kitty's hair. They are just a basic daisy cut with rolled pedals and layered. I added a few extra touches as you can see.

The rosette took some time but were well worth it. I used a Fiskers snowflake punch around the outside. I like to have my rosettes scored when I cut them out. I used a SVG file from SVGCuts entitled Vintage Rosettes and cut my plain rosettes at 9 x 11 inches.

I used paper clips to clip it together before gluing to make sure I had enough sections. I had three sections due to it's size. I used a low temp heat gun to glue it together.
Here is my hanging Hello Kitty one more time...

St. Patrick's Day

I've been using my Cricut and Sure Cuts A Lot program with wonderful SVG files I have bought from SVGcuts to make some really cute decorations. I hope you don't mind my sharing them with you over the next few days.

I have a friend who was hosting a fun spring get together at her house so I thought it would be nice to take some cupcakes to share. I was suppose to go to her house for Valentine's but was sick so I thought I would bring Valentines into the future and combine my idea with St. Patrick's Day. I got the cutest clover cupcake wrap from SVGcuts and used that to wrap my cupcakes in and then I used the Valentine's paper cupcake wrappers and finally I finished with pink frosting. I know that if it weren't for the clover design on the wraps that I would have a Christmas theme going on. Hmm, maybe next time I'll combine Christmas with either Valentines or St. Patrick's Day.

Why the hole in the balloon part of this? It's a door hanger with a very adorable St. Patrick's Day puppy. I planned on putting stickers in this and taking it to my friend's house to give to her daughter. But because I was rushing around and trying to get the cupcakes ready, I forgot it so now it is still hanging with my crafting stuff. I guess I'll have to make my friend's daughter something for Easter and hopefully I'll remember that.

By the way, this is a SVG file from SVGcuts.

In the evening we went to a friend's house for dinner and I wanted to take her a festive gift so I made this using another St. Patrick's SVG file from SVGcuts. It's 3D so I bought some clover shaped sugar cookies, wrapped them up and placed them inside my St. Patty's pot. Sweets are just like gold to a women. Yum.

Tomorrow I hope to show off some SVG cards I made to send out. Till then, sleep tight and don't let the bedbugs bite.
