SVG Attic DT Monday with Jearise

Welcome to SVG Attic Design Team Monday. I hope you had a great weekend and are ready for one special little box.
Cute box but it's no ordinary box..Untie the string and take the cover off and SURPRISE! a cupcake just for you.

It's and explosion box plus cupcake holder. What a great way to say thank you, congratulations or happy birthday.

I used a few of the svg files from SVG Attic to put this box together.

The explosion box is the Valentine Explosion Box from the set Yours Truly. I used the outer box from the set and cut it out at 10.150 x 10.150. I cut the top out at Width: 9.951 x Height 4.800.

The cupcake insert is from Kiss the Cook which happens to be the newest set from SVG Attic. I cut out the cupcake insert at Width: 5.000 x Height: 3.949.

The border around the cover's edge came from Erin's Scalloped Trims and I cut it out at Width: 9.000 by Height: 1.008. You will need to cut two strips since one strip only fits two sides.€€€€ The strips should be longer then the side so that you can match up the corners.

The rose is from the rose gift box from the Be Mine collection. I cut the rose out at normal size and then used some blue glitter glue on the tips.

The tag top came from the set Cookies for Santa and it's the top-frame-top from the Cookie Gift Box left together and cut at Width: 1.770 x Height: 2.437. Once I got the measurements together, I broke it apart to cut.

I tied the box together with some We R Memory Keepers twine to give the box some extra support.

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look and I wish you a great rest of the week.

Hugs from Jearise in Lorby's World.

embossed background and Cinderella from Cuddlebug embossing folder

There is a great line-up today for the hop and I wouldn't want you to miss a single spot:

Cinderella Blog Lineup:

You are probably wondering if there is going to be a prize for this hop. There is. It will be a Disney animated movie but I will reveal as to which movie it is going to be at a later time. To be eligible for this prize, you have to follow my blog and everyone else's blog that is in this hop. You also must leave me and the other wonderful ladies a comment in order to qualify for the prize. The grand prize will be awarded at the end of this month. You get one entry for each of the 4 blog hops during the series of Walt Disney Animated Movies Blog Hops during each of the Friday's in the month of March. So if you just choose one of the Fridays to attend, you would only get one entry but if you choose to attend all four hops during the month of March, you get a bonus entry since you came to all four hops, then you will receive 4 + 1 entries, which makes your chance of winning the movie go up with each entry.

Thanks for stopping by today and visiting and checking out my project, I now must send you on your way but watch out for the wicked stepmother and step sisters as I send you on to ... Please stop back again real soon for another great project.

Banners for Kids: Bunnies and Blossoms Blog Hop

                      G45 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Banners for Kids: Bunnies and Blossoms Blog Hop. This is a very special blog hop because many crafters come together to donate their time and talent to design and make banners for special needs children. Ellen A.K.A. CardMonkey is the brains behind this kind hearted project and also our hostess. This is a two day hop even though I am in it only today, I ask that you start at Ellen's blog again tomorrow to see more banners made with love for these special children.

The bunny is flocked and then I embossed him using my Cuddlebug so he has some fuzzy texture. The flowers are my own design and I used my eClips to cut them out.

I used my eClips pen holder to put the words, "Some bunny loves you" on the middle bunny in the banner.

Thank you so much for stopping by today to see our banners to give spiritual support to these children. Please continue on now to  Rachelle's Blog.

Welcome to the G45 Blog Hop today being hosted by Monica. If you are a diehard G45 fan, then this is the hop for you. You will see nothing but G45 projects in this one and we hope you enjoy this hop. In order for you to be eligible for the blog candy, you must become a follower and leave everyone some love on their blogs.

I did a layout for my project. I haven't done one in awhile but using this fun paper makes me want to make more. The paper is from the Graphic 45 Core Impression. I got out the sandpaper and went to work. It really brings out the embossing and gives the paper a very soft to the touch feel.

Thank you for stopping by today taking a look at my layout. Please continue on to  Tami.

I designed this Irish Kisses box for the day and will be delivering it to good friends tonight who are Irish to the bone and make a BIG wonderful deal out of this fun day.

    My Fair Lady Blog Hop

Please click here for the 3D Hop

Welcome to the My Fair Lady Blog Hop hosted by Gill. If you've come from Debbie's blog you are where you belong but if' you've happened here by luck, please go back and start at Gill's blog so you don't miss any of the creative ideas to commemorate My Fair Lady.

    First a quick history lesson...
My Fair Lady is a musical based upon George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe. The story concerns Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl who takes speech lessons from professor Henry Higgins, a phoneticist, so that she may pass as a well born lady.

The musical's 1956 Broadway production was a hit, setting what was then the record for the longest run of any major musical theater production in history. It was followed by a hit London production, a popular film version, and numerous revivals. It has been called "the perfect musical". (Wikipedia)

Now for my project. I just love the hat that Audrey Hepburn wore in the movie and as a kid, always wondered how she got such a humungous thing to stay on her head and so as soon as this hop was put in place I knew I needed to be in it and create my version of that hat.

Here is a picture of Audrey Hepburn wearing the hat.
    Here is my card.
I had to add some colored feathers for an accent of color since the hat from the picture had some red and pink small feathers and flowers for its accent.

The hat and 3D bow I designed myself and cut out using my Sizzix eClips. I added the yellow embossed paper behind so the hat stood out and then I added some Star Dust Stickles to the bottom in a swirl pattern.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I just love to hear from you in my comments.

Please head on over to Anita's blog  and Hugs from Jearise in Lorby's World.

    SVG Attic DT Monday

    Good Monday morning.

Today I took the flower card from the SVG Attic set Welcome Spring and turned it into a wedding card. I used the same card but it looked like this...
Once I re-did it and made a wedding card, it looked like this...
First, I cut out the flower pattern and then I added glitter Mod Podge to it.
Here is a side view so you can see the glitter.
The hearts came from the set "Valentine Elements" and I embossed them.

    Welcome Spring Set

    Welcome Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to the Welcome Spring Blog Hop hosted by SVG Attic Blog. We have so many wonderful projects to show from our very talented design team and some very crafty friends of SVG Attic.

We'll be showcasing our latest release Welcome Spring  plus giving you some wonderful ideas to use this set with other sets found in the SVG Attic store.

If you've happened here by luck...Wonderful, but we ask that you start at the beginning of the hop so you don't miss a thing SVG Attic Blog. If you've come from My Time to Play, you are on the right track and can relax and open your mind to some great ideas...
I made the flower card from the Welcome Spring collection. I like the dramatic look the black and white have against the orange.

I cut out my bird and slightly inked it with orange ink before I used my Cuddlebug to emboss it. I then went back and inked him again in orange.

I just love this card and have found it is so versatile. I have also made a wedding card and birthday card using it. You'll have to check out my blog on DT Monday to see one of those cards. I'm leaving it a surprise as to which one I will be posting. Don't you just love surprises!

One last thing, I didn't notice until after I finished my project that my colors are similar to the picture of the set. At first I was like, oh no, but then the more I looked at it the more it even proved to me how versatile this card is and how uniquely you can make the card yours.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. It was a pleasure to have you as part of  SVG Attic's Blog Hop  - Welcome Spring and please take a moment to check out the SVG Attic Blog where we have monthly challenges going on now and don't forget to friend us on Face Book.

Now continue on to Eclectic Diversion.
