All Things Tim Burton - October 22 and 23rd (Day 1)

If you're looking for the 13 Days of Halloween - Click Here

Boys and girls of every age, wouldn't you like to see something strange?  If you're a Tim Burton fan, you will recognize that line from "This is Halloween" -- a well-known song from the movie  "The Nightmare Before Christmas".  With Halloween just around the corner, this is the perfect time to celebrate all things Tim Burton! We have a talented group of ladies on this weekend blog hop.  Join us as we each share a project inspired by one of Tim's quirky characters!

If you've just come from Canadian Nickel's blog, you are right where you should be !  If you haven't but would like to start from the beginning, go to Dena's blog :  http://missdjones.blogspot.com/.

We would like to thank Karber Digital Images for sponsoring this blog hop.  Karber is giving away two digital stamps to one lucky person who comments during the blog hop.

*** To be eligible to win, you must comment on each blog in the hop.
*** You must become a follower of each blog.

*** The winner will be announced no later than Wednesday, October 26th.

Now, on to the project I would like to share with you:

I loved Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow and while looking at Tim Burton film posters online I came across this picture.

I was sure I could do my 3D version. It's not exactly the same but I think pretty cool anyway.

Hubby helped me out and found a picture of the moon on line and brought it into Inscape to tweak. He printed it out and I used Mod Podge on it to add a shine. The tree is a brown lunch bag twisted, twisted and twisted some more. I'll put together a tutorial on how I made that and put it on my blog on a later date. I used brown and black tempra paint to give the tree some depth and color. The headless horseman is from the Gothic Flourishes collection from SVGCuts.

If you've come to my world after viewing all the others then you are at the end and it is time to go dream all things Burton tonight and we'll see you tomorrow. If you get lost along the way, the complete blog hop lineup is below.  Thanks for stopping by !
