It's month six of our year long adventure into different card-making techniques, folds and paper crafting products. This month's card projects are step cards. Here are three videos to show you how to do these techniques.
It's not too late to hop and comment to be entered into our prize drawing. Just go to Theresa's blog to get the links.
We really love feedback, so please leave a comment on each of the blogs in today's hop. Each comment on the 12 hops throughout the year will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Blitsy.com or Stampin' Up gift certificate (Winner's Choice).
Here are the step cards I made. These two are the same design. The first one I used the file as it was and the second one I removed the apple and added a Bugaboo digital stamp that I colored. I wanted to show how versatile these cards can be.
It was the end of the school year and I needed thank you cards for my children's teachers. I headed to the Silhouette Store and bought the "square center step card: school". It was perfect and I could make it into the thank you card I needed. I used the file assorted artisan frame from the Silhouette store for my tag that I stamped thank you on. I had to make it smaller to fit in the area but it was perfect. I used a school themed 6 x 6 paper pad from We R Memory Keepers but alas, you can't get it any longer.
Here is the line up just case you landed here first instead of last. Have a great time until we meet again next month. :)
