Birthday Magic

Some cards are easier than others to put together and this was one of those easy cards. I flipped on my gypsy and the first cartridge that appeared was A Child's Year and from there everything just fell into place for the birthday card I made for my dear crafting friend Lynne.

I discovered this charming child fairy on the cartridge and cut her out on my Cricut at 4 inches tall. I did a shadow behind her but was surprised it wasn't as big as it was suppose to be but yet it worked without me having to cut another shadow out. I used Stickles glitter glue in Stardust to outline the wings and Liquid Pearls in Buttercup for the star on the end of the wand. I had some ready made paper flowers that I sprayed with Perfect Pearls Mist in Turquoise. I used my Sizzix Big Shot and Spellbinders Nestabliliteies S4-246 for the background behind my child fairy. Finally, I added an corner from Miriam's Crafting Supplies.

Thanks for stopping and I hope I have inspired you some today.

Until next time, crafting hugs from me to you.
