"29? Again" Blog Hop

Welcome to the "29 ? AGAIN" birthday blog hop. We are so glad you have decided to join us today for this is a ONE day blog hop that will last all day today, from 12:00 am to 11:59 pm. 


We’ve had so much fun creating this hop, and we have a wonderful line up with some oh-so-talented creators. Happy 29th birthday to you at any age. Isn't it fun to stay 29 forever!?! I took that thought and turned it into a fun card.

This card only has a front side but it has a lot going on for one side.  I used DCWV for the paper with a shiny background for the letters but thought it needed more so I got out my Bic markers and colored the white part of the letters in as well as the candles and chocolate frosting on the cake.  

I used Stickle's glitter glue for my flames and Liquid Pearls to outline the cake. I gently stamped brown and purple on my cake and dish to give it it's speckled look.

The bow was a project in itself. I braided ribbon, strung it through the top of the card, glued it down, then when it was dry I went back and took out the ends of the braids and trimmed them to the length I thought they looked best.
