The Mad Hatter Tea Party

<center badge>

Welcome to The Mad Hatter's Tea Party. If you happen to fall in the rabbit's hole you have landed in the wacky wonderful world of Alice where we're all mad here! The March Hare is scurring and hoping you won't be late in attending and wishing our hostess a Happy Birthday!!! She does love celebrating her birthday and what better way than to have a tea party with all of her favorite friends in this Wonderland!!!!

There are some wonderful sponsors today to help us celebrate:

Rick St. Dennis has some fabulous digi's and he is offering three of these to one lucky winner. You can fine him at http://rickstdennis.blogspot.nl/ and he asks that you become a follower.

Here's my project which I hope you enjoy

 I made a Alice in Wonderland standing card. I found a vintage picture of Alice looking at the tiny door and couldn't resist using my Promarkers to color her and then I got the crazy idea of using my utility knife and cutting around part of her, inserting orange tulle to look like the curtain and giving it some detention which you can see in the pictures below.

Thank you for stopping and enjoying a cup of tea and perhaps crumpets with me! Your next stop along the party hop is Jenny or just follow the March Hare and don't be late for a very important date!

  1. Love what you have done with this card - it made me want to look behind the curtain too! It is so effective with that tulle curtain.

  7. Jearise, I love your card! It is beautiful. I love the shape of it and the papers you used. That image is great. It took me a few minutes to realize that it was just the coloring to make it look 3-D. Wonderful job! Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown
