Krazy Crafting Crew Summer Blog Hop - Day 2

Welcome back for Day 2 of our Krazy Crafting Crew Summer Blog Hop. We hope you found lots of ideas and inspiration yesterday and will continue to find even more today.

If you just came from Robin's Blog you are on the right track. If you found this hop and want to go to the beginning to make sure you don't miss any inspiration, please go to So Many Crafts, So Little Time

We also have two sponsors this month:

 and Anita and Bugs.

Here is my Day 2 project...

Along with summer comes summer vacations and family road trips so I decided to do a layout for a family trip. I love the paper which was on clearance and is On Cloud 9. I'm not for sure about who the stickers are from but I bought them at Tuesday Morning's.

I wanted an out door kind of feel because when you're traveling you're on the road again. I used jute instead of twine and neutral colored buttons on my layout. The jute came from My Life in Arts and Crafts' Etsy Store.

There's a little hidden pocket with a tag for writing of your special road trip and I used more jute for the end of the tag.

Thanks for stopping by and now continue on to Lisa's Blog.

  2. Love your layout! It definitely does have an outdoor feel. Isn't that jute amazing?? I'm lucky enough to live 2 minutes away from Jessi, so I was stoked to try it out with her. I love the little hidden pocket idea too!

    Thanks so much for sharing!

  3. Oooh, I love your layout -- the jute is just perfect for the outdoorsy feel you were aiming for .. it totally works. Super colors, again, works so well for that clear blue sky look against the woodsy feel. Can you tell I really like it? Well done!!

  5. Really like this layout, can't quite put my finger on why it pulls me in, maybe the color combo, the placement of the mats vs stickers? Can't really say except this is fantastic
