Mod Podge Blog Hop with the Krazy Crafting Crew

Welcome to the Krazy Crafting Crews' Mod Podge Blog Hop.
We are an independent hop team that enjoys sharing out work with everyone and hope to inspire you with new ideas for you own creativity. We are a team who loves to do all different themes, such as cards, layouts, 3D projects and so much more. We do all the paper crafting from traditional to digital. Mostly traditional, every now and then there may be a little mixed media too!

Jearise here from Lorby's World and I am your hostess today. I have a drawing for this little bundle of goodies

and I will pick one lucky winner from all those that leave a comment on my blog today. You're comment may not show up immediately since I have my moderator on. I'll use random.org to pick the winner on Wednesday.  Enjoy the projects!

Here is my project I have made for today’s hop
I love doing birdhouses that I grab from the dollar bins at Michaels and Joann's and this is one I grabbed a year ago. I decided to give it a school house look and it will got to my daughter's teacher at the end of the school year as a thank you.

I used Mod Podge to attach the school themed paper on the roof and sides of the house. I used acrylic paint to paint the other areas.

I also used a blue chalk ink to ink the edges of the birdhouse.

Finally, I used a gloss Mod Podge on the front of the birdhouse because I like a gloss look over a matte look.

Here is the back side.

I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper.

Here is another project I am working on that I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper to the frame and then I went back over the adhered paper after it was on and dried with Mod Podge.
I plan on adding some hand made flowers and whatever other fancy things I can come up with. You'll have to check my blog on and off to see when and what it looks like when I'm finished.

Thank you for stopping by and please continue on to Lori's Blog.
