Hello,

I had "Mad Hatter Day" and "Plush Animal Day" this month. I got so creative with my Mad Hatter project that I didn't get my plush animal project done and now it the beginning of the hop and I need to show you what I've made. I will try to finish the plush animal idea and post later today or on Monday.

Here's my Mad Hatter project: Instead of making a hat, which I've done before, I decided to create the bottles that Alice drank.
I put paper I found in my stacks that made me thing of Alice in Wonderland on a serving tray.
This multipurpose bottle can be used like I did or even for a perfume bottle in a project. The cover comes off.
This bottle was inspired by the flat medicine bottles you use to see in at the pharmacist.  I had to add my bling to the "Drink Me."
This box is made from two simple Origami paper boxes.

Thanks for stopping by and mark your calendar again next month to see what Holidays to Celebrate on November 10, 2012, for the next Calendar Girls Blog Hop!

Please continue on to Janet's Blog.

  2. Great idea...the bottles! My daughter-in-law's bridal shower used a Mad Hatter theme, so I made well over 100 themed cards for shower favors...so I know exactly what you mean by having fun with the Mad Hatter theme! I was having a ball...and although 100 cards may have been overdoing it...I was having way too much fun. If you get a chance, check out my blog to see some samples. http://shortonideasaz.blogspot.com/2012/07/two-lumps-of-fun.html Looking forward to seeing your plush animal project!
